The Ultimate Guide for Grandparents, was published by Parent's Guide Press/Mars Publishing in July 2003. A third book, Outwitting Housework -- Brilliant Tips, Tricks, and Advice on Housekeeping... and Life, was published by Globe Pequot in June 2004. Rosenberg recently completed her first novel, Waking in a Wide Land, and she has discovered that she vastly prefers writing fiction to nonfiction. Look out, John Irving.
Rosenberg is a dynamic speaker who both entertains and educates audiences about effective ways to reduce the stress in their lives. She has been a guest on radio shows throughout the United States and has appeared locally as the featured guest on Fox Morning News, KOMO 4's Northwest Afternoon and KATU-TV's A.M. Northwest. Rosenberg has been interviewed for articles for Redbook, Fitness, Parents, Marie Claire and Woman's Day.
A Dallas native and graduate of Texas A&M University, Rosenberg began her literary career working as an editor for the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia, in 1990. She and her husband, Brian, moved back to Dallas in 1995, where she began freelancing for local publications, including Today's Dallas Woman and Health & Fitness Sports Magazine. Larger assignments soon followed, though Rosenberg confesses, "Many of my assignments are made so the editor can just make me go away!"
The Rosenbergs have relocated many times through the years, living in Rockville, Maryland; West Chester, Pennsylvania; Woodinville, Washington; and various Dallas suburbs. They currently live in Plano, Texas. Nancy's husband works for Ericsson, putzes around in the yard, and looks for places to drive his car very fast. Daughter Rachel, 10, plays the violin and loves to ride horses, while Hannah, 5, enjoys swimming and playing the piano.
